PURPOSE: To heighten a rust preventive effect for stay cables, and simplify a constitution of a stay cable fixing device while keeping mechanical strength of the stay cables of a cable stayed bridge. ;CONSTITUTION: FRP material stay cables 5, 5... are used, and the stay cables 5, 5... are inserted into an external cylindrical pipe 26. One end parts 5a, 5a... of the stay cables are fixed to a main tower 2 by means of a fixing device 20.
