CONTROL METHOD FOR TOOL EXCHANGING TIME OF NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED MACHINE TOOL HAVING AUTOMATIC TOOL EXCHANGING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To rapidly restart working by constituting a control circuit so that the tool content in tool exchanging time is called from the control circuit by the manual start command of reworking start after tool exchange to automatically install the same tool as that before the tool exchange into a main spindle. ;CONSTITUTION: In an NC device 1, advancing state of a working program and X, Y, Z position of a tool installed on a main spindle are stored, and a necessary command is outputted to the side of a numerically controlled machine tool 3 and an automatic tool exchanging device 4 through a PC device 2 as an occasion demands to conduct a predetermined working. When a tool check is required, and a tool exchange is generated, all the tool content, tool position and working program content in the tool exchanging time are stored in the NC device. When the tool exchange is ended, and a reworking start command is manually transmitted, a desired tool is automatically exchanged in the main spindle on the basis of the content stored in the NC device, and the tool position is automatically returned to the state before the tool exchange.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
