PURPOSE: To provide a titled device for separating long and short sausages without the loss of compression or the like constituted of a device for rotating hank-like sausage, the device for separating it and the device for carrying it and composed by turning respective displacement elements in the separation device to specified setting. CONSTITUTION: This device is composed of the device for rotating the hank-like sausage, the separation device provided with the two or more chevron-shaped planar displacement elements 9 rotationally driven in both directions with one driving axis as a center (recessed surface parts 22 and 22' are provided, the recessed surface parts 22 and 22' diagonally face at two edge parts 21 and 21', are joined with a chevron- shaped notched part 15 and are designed thin to the thickness of the remaining part wall of the root area of the chevron-shaped notched part 15 and the respective displacement elements 9 are extended in a radial direction so as to be tapered by rotation cut (y) surface at the edge parts 21 and 21' from the root area of a chevron shape) and a carrying device for carrying the separated sausages.
