PURPOSE: To increase the number of the galvanic anodes to be embedded and to reduce the cost by embedding the anodes without digging and thereby improving working efficiency. ;CONSTITUTION: This jig 10 is used to drive a galvanic anode 1 with both end faces in the longitudinal direction formed into a tapered face 2 and with the mandrel 3 as the connection to a body to be protected projecting from the one tapered face 2 into the soil. A recess 15 into which the upper end of the galvanic anode is inserted is provided at the lower end of the cylindrical main body 11, a receiving plate 16 having a tapered face 21 corresponding to the tapered face 2 is furnished in the recess 15, and a hole 18 through which the mandrel 3 passes is formed in the receiving plate 16. The jig 10 is placed on the upper end of the galvanic anode 1, the head of the jig 10 is then vibrated with a driving machine, and the galvanized anode 1 is embedded to a specified depth.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
