PURPOSE: To prevent generation of an internal surface flaw of a pipe caused by a plug by using a cermet whose main component is titanium carbide for a draw cutting pliers plug used for drawing out the pipe. ;CONSTITUTION: By using a cermet formed by sintering titanium carbide and tungsten carbide by metallic molybdenum, for a draw cutting pliers plug 1, generation of an internal surface flaw at the time of drawing out a pipe is prevented. That is, adhesion wear of the plug 1 and a stock 8 to be drawn out is prevented. Also, to the plug 1, a pedestal, that is, a shunt part 2 is attached, a piano wire 12 whose one end is fixed is fixed, and a position of the shunt part 2 in the through-direction of a die hole 6 is determined. The pipe 8 being the stock to be drawn out is drawn through a chuck 10 attached to its tip part. Therefore, as for brazing of the plug 1 made of a cermet and the shunt part 2 made of soft steel which becomes its pedestal, the cermet whose main component is titanium carbide and steel are subjected to vacuum brazing.
