摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject new epoxy (meth)acrylates good in hue by reacting an epoxy resin with (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of a specific organic phosphonium sulfonate catalyst. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective epoxy (meth)acrylates are obtained by blending an epoxy resin with (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of one or more organic phosphonium sulfonates expressed by formulas I, II, III and IV {R1 to R4 are 1-18C hydrocarbon or 1-18C hydrocarbon having substituent group; R5 is 6-22C alkyl, 6-22C aryl, etc.; R7 is 2-3C alkylene; R8 is 5-21C alkyl; R9 is 5-21C alkyl; Z1 is H or formula V (m is 0-6); Z2 is H or OH} in an amount of preferably 0.2-3wt.% [based on the total amount of the epoxy resin and the (meth)acrylic acid] as a catalyst so as to provide preferably 0.9-1.1 (molar ratio of functional groups) of the epoxy/carboxy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
