DMA DATA TRANSFER SYSTEM IN GP-IB

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a DMA data transfer system in GP-IB capable of recognizing the termination of data reception without using a MPU. ;CONSTITUTION: In a system where other devices are connected via a GP-IB connector 9 and a DMA data transfer is performed by a DMA controller 6 and a GP-IB controller 8, a received character number register 21 storing the number of received character as a termination condition of data reception within a DMA controller 6 and a terminal character register 22 storing terminal character data within a GP-IB controller 8 are provided, respectively. A control function 20 provided within a RAM 5 terminates data reception by using a received character number limitation function of the DMA controller 6 and a function to stop the DMA by detecting that the terminal character of the GP-IB controller 8 is inputted or that an EOI signal is inputted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
