DISCRIMINATING METHOD OF QUALITY OF ADHESION IN STUCK PART OF VULCANIZED RUBBER AND METAL

PURPOSE:To discriminate easily and precisely the quality of adhesion, by a method wherein at the time of forming of stuck parts by sticking a rubber member to a metal to which an adhesive agent for rubber is applied through vulcanization molding, simultaneously with the vulcanization molding of the rubber member a rubber small test piece is vulcanization- molded on a part of the surface of a metal other than an adhesive part and the rubber small test piece is peeled off from the surface of the metal. CONSTITUTION:A toruslike rubber member 3 is integrally molded by being baked between a top and bottom metallic discs 2, 2', to the whole surfaces of which an adhesive agent is applied, through vulcanization molding, in gear completeness which is an object of discrimination. Simultaneously with vulcanization molding of the rubber member 3 a small protrusionlike small test piece 4 obtained through vulcanization molding by introducing the rubber material is provided in a projecting state on a part of the surfaces of the metallic discs 2, 2' which are not an adhesive surface of the rubber member 3. Therefor, it becomes that the rubber material 3 and small test piece 4 are both vulcanization-molded at a time through the same adhesive agent under the same vulcanizing condition and when the quality of adhesion of the small test piece 4 is discriminated, the quality of the adhesion of the rubber member 3 can be discriminated.
