PURPOSE: To obtain a treatment device after image formation designed so that recording sheets which drop to the recording sheet receptacle of a stapler during stapling process are prevented from becoming caught by a clincher, causing their misalignment. ;CONSTITUTION: The clincher part 10 of a stapler S is located almost in the center of an opposite side to recording sheets P to be stacked in a recording sheet receptacle 6 during a standby state before a stapling action, and is moved to a stapling position during the stapling action.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
