A device in the stop mechanism of a pivoted window furnished with a locking means (6, 7, 18, 18'; 6, 16, 18, 18') which on rotation comes to rest against a longitudinal edge of the tongue of a pivoted window fastening (13) which projects into the stop mechanism, whereby said stop mechanism (3, 10, 11) is prevented from being moved transversely of the longitudinal direction of said tongue and releasing the engagement of the hook (10, 11) with said notch (12). The locking device consists of a lock pin (6) having a disc (18) eccentrically mounted thereon, which on rotation of said lock pin (6) comes to rest (18') against the longitudinal edge of the tongue opposite the edge of the tongue (13) which is furnished with said notch (12).
