Scleroglucan gel applied to petroleum industry

New crosslinking compositions for polysaccharides. The crosslinking compositions comprise at least one water-soluble complex of a polyvalent metal cation capable of crosslinking a polysaccharide such as scleroglucan. The compositions make it possible to form aqueous scleroglucan gels which can be employed in the petroleum industry.
