Method of detecting potato bulb fusiform viroide by means of DNA hybridisation with viroide RNA characterised in that the juice sample from the tested plant is subjected to denaturation, the denaturated juice is placed on the filtration substrate capturing DNA and RNA, the bond of nucleonic acids with the substrate is strengthened and incubated in the hybridisation solution with marked polynucleotide probe containing a vector and DNA of the following sequence:IMAGEwhere X means the sequence constituting the vector's restrictive location, the resulting hybrids of RNA viroide/probe DNA are separated with the use unbonded probe and detected.3. Diagnostic equipment for detecting potato bulb fusiform viroide by means of hybridisation of probe DNA with viroide RNA characterised in that it consists of the polynucleotide probe containing a vector and synthetic DNA of the following sequence:IMAGEwhere X means the sequence constituting the vector's restrictive location, and from extraction buffer and denaturing mixture used for preparing the tested plant matter.
