The present invention has as object an electric power station for generating hydroelectric current from watercourses and from fluid flows in general, characterised by comprising at least two wheels, spaced apart and rotationally supported in a current of water, with axes perpendicular to the water flow direction.The said wheels support a conveyor belt running continuously and having blades on the external surface, extending perpendicularly to the flow of water.The shaft of one of the wheels is operatively connected to an electric generator, positioned on one of the banks of a watercourse.
