ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA spacer for lamella carriers of vertical lamellablinds comprises an oblong, strip-shaped section, an endconnector element for positive engagement with the lamellacarrier, as well as a detent arranged at its free end thatcan be guided into seating with the neighboring lamellacarrier. For simplification of assembly and in order toavoid a spreading of the strip-shaped sections, theconnector element of the spacer carriers two channels at itsside facing away from the lamella carrier, these twochannels being directed toward one another and their spacingand width essentially corresponding to the dimensions of thestrip-shaped section of the spacer, so that the strip-shapedsection of the spacer of the following lamella carrier iscapable of sliding in these channels during extension ofretraction. The upper terminating surface of the connectorelement that faces toward the lamella carrier is inclinedrelative to the longitudinal axis of the strip-shapedsection, so that the strip-shaped sections of all spacerslie tightly on top of one another in imbricated fashion whenthe lamella carriers are brought together.- 17 -
