ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA compressed gas-insulated bus between a metal-enclosed, compressed gas-insulated high-voltage switchinginstallation and a transformer. The compressed gas-insulatedbus, with or without a compensator, serves to connect atransformer to a metal-enclosed, compressed gas-insulatedhigh-voltage switching installation. Since the transformermust sometimes be replaced, the gas-insulated bus shouldprovide an as large as possible, compensable tolerance zone forthe position of the transformer connection. For this purpose,the transformer connection to the gas-insulated bus with acompensator is connected by means of a first rotary flange toone end of a Z- or U-shaped enclosed compressed gas-insulatedbus connection member, the other end of the connection memberbeing connected to the gas-insulated bus proper by means of asecond rotary flange. The compensable tolerance zone isdetermined by twisting this gas-insulated bus connection memberand by the allowable angular movement of the compensator,whereby the allowable axial movement of the compensator can bedisregarded. In a gas-insulated bus without a compensator, thetransformer connection and the gas-insulated bus are eachconnected via respective rotary flanges to respective Z-shapedgas-insulated bus connection members with each connectionmember being connected to the other via further rotary flanges.Such a gas-insulated bus is disposed between a transformer anda compressed gas-insulated high-voltage switching installationof an electric supply plant.
