ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE:There is disclosed an electric fence for chasing awaypigeons or the like undesired birds. The fencecomprises a series of spaced posts made of electricallyinsulating a material, each post having a flat top end cutacross by a groove having a depth of predetermined sizeand formed with a tapped hole adjacent to the groove.An electric wire, having a positive section, extendssuccessively through the grooved of the posts, this wirehaving a diameter greater than the predetermined sizedabove mentionned so as to projecting out of the grooves.Screws are provided which have threaded stems and flatheads, the stems being screwed to one of the tappedholes. The screws heads have a width which issufficient to overlap the electric wire projecting outof the grooves in a manner such that the screws clampthe electric wire against the posts.
