2111869 9300461 PCTABS00019 A confected stannous sulphate granulate is suitable for electrolytically coloring anodized aluminium with metallic salts, whereas the granulate particles have a linear extension comprised between 0.1 and 10 mm. Also disclosed are a process for producing the same and its use for electrolytically coloring anodized aluminium with metallic salts. The confected stannous sulphate granulate is characterized by technical advantages, such as storage stability, easy dosability and absence of dust, over conventionally used stannous sulphate powders.
