A granulating method by aerobic biological treatment of organic waste water and an aerobic biological treatment method for organic waste water. In particular, a method for forming granulated bacteria having good settling out properties in a simple manner without any costly special device and treating organic waste water efficiently. Only organic waste water or, as required, treatment liquid (5) comprised of the organic waste water into which a microbe source containing aerobic microbes having autoagglutination is added in advance is put in an aeration tank (1) and air is sent thereinto via an air supply pipe (4). This air comes out, for instance, of a ball filter (3) so as to generate a swirling current in the treatment liquid (5). By maintaining this condition, granulated bacteria are created by microbes in organic waste water or the autoagglutination power of the microbe source added thereinto and at the same time waste water is treated. Furthermore, it is possible to treat organic waste water by using granulated bacteria so created.
