A plastic web or film comprising 90-25 % by weight of a vinyl chloride homopolymer, copolymer or graft polymer and/or an alloy or mixture based on polyvinyl chloride, 10-75 % by weight of at least one modifier having a glass transition temperature of greater than 70 DEG C, preferably greater than 80 DEG C, and/or at least one modifier having a glass transition temperature of less than 60 DEG C, preferably less than 50 DEG C, and in addition at least one stabiliser or stabiliser mixture and optionally fillers, antioxidants, plasticisers, lubricants, processing assistants, dyes or coloured pigments, flameproofing agents or other additives or mixtures of one or more of these substances, the stabiliser comprising, based on 100 parts by weight of the plastic mixture, 1-10 parts by weight of at least one stabiliser or stabiliser mixture based on an inorganic and/or organic lead and/or tin compound, and 0.1-10 parts by weight, preferably 1-9 parts by weight, of a costabiliser or costabiliser mixture based on a magnesium or magnesium/aluminium compound.
