The strips of electric distribution of the known type have an outgoing connection cable laterally of the housing, which results in systems having a plurality of workstations arranged one beside the other, of relatively large outer installation work. With the arrangement according to the invention, the plug connection elements (44, 48) securely fastened to the housing (18) of the power distribution bar (14) for supply lines and electrical wiring arriving and leave (56, 54), the installation work at the workstation is significantly reduced. The invention is particularly applicable to flexible mounting systems manufacturing industrial mass.
