Exposure system for colour video printer provides drive unit for mechanism to maintain distance between film and head of exposure CRT. The device comprises means (20) for maintaining distance between film (3') and head (1a) in front of exposure CRT (1), which has distance maintaining plates (22),(23) attatched on both sides of film support plate (21) or the head (1a). In order to compensate inclining of the CRT (1), the plate (21) is pivoted at the hinge. The plate (21) for being contacted with the CRT (1), is supported by elastic section (37).
