In a circuit arrangement for the measurement of acceleration, two high-frequency voltages having phases mutually shifted by 180@ are applied to a differential capacitor arrangement, and an electrical measuring signal proportional to the acceleration is generated by evaluation of the high-frequency voltages; this is fed via summing amplifiers to the capacitor arrangement for compensating for the mechanical detuning. The electrical measuring signal proportional to the acceleration is thus dependent on manufacturing tolerances in the production of the differential capacitor arrangement. In order to eliminate the zero-point error and the linearity error, a direct voltage (U0), reduced or increased by an amount ( DELTA U0), and a feedback measuring signal (Ux), likewise increased or reduced by an amount, are fed to the summing amplifiers (25, 26) in the circuit arrangement.
