The system has a locating mechanism, which allows it to adjust itself to any movements of a passenger in a crash. The mechanism is located on the most favourable part of the seat foot. A safety belt is fastened to the back rest, and extends across the chest of the passenger. Seat and passenger form an integral unit. A shaft forming part of the seat surface, has a bearing in a holder on the seat foot. There is an absorber, etc., which permits a reverse/forward movement of the seat during a crash, by braking the turning movement. There may also be levers/shock absorbers/springs, etc., and elastic materials may be used, e.g. rubber/synthetics. ADVANTAGE - Improved safety.
