Energy supply system for conveyor moving parts - uses flexible current supply cables attached to moving parts supplied from similarly moving energy supply devices

The energy supply system uses flexible electrical supply cables (2), attached to the conveyor moving parts, with cooperating energy supply devices (3, 5) along the supply cables (2), displaced together with the moving parts. Pref. the energy supply device (3, 5) include at least one generator (G) which utilises the mechanical energy caused by the relative movement of the moving and stationary parts of the conveyor. The energy supply devices (3, 5) may have sliding contacts for cooperating with stationary current supply rails (4). USE - For sorting - conveyor of several huundred metres in length.
