The solar modules are supported at different angles to the vertical by angled carrier elements (1), which are arranged in a circle. Pref. the carrier elements are attached to a pair of concentric carrier rings (2,3) held at a given spacing by angularly spaced radical struts. Carrier elements forming a large apex angle have solar modules attached to both inclined surfaces, other just on the skywards surface. The device is rotatable about a vertical axis, and some of the external carrier elements surface function as reflection surfaces.
