The vessel (3) is propulsed by a submerged pipe (14) projecting underwater at the stern of the vessel. The pipe leads from a tank (4) located within the vessel. The tank is sealed with one of its walls being a flexible membrane (8). When the tank is heated (6), the steam produced drives water through the pipe, thus propelling the vessel. USE/ADVANTAGE - A simple drive for model boats.
