The screwdriver cylinder (2) is parallel to a feed-cylinder (1) which has in it's front end cap (7) a knurled knob (21). This is turned to set the distance between the adjustable stop (14) and the rubber faced stop (5) sliding in a chamber (6) which is not fed with air. The stop (5) carries a pin (23) which passes through a slot into the neighbouring screwdriver cylinder. When the feed piston moves forward it takes the screwdriver head with it until the stops (5) & (14) meet. ADVANTAGE - The distance from the screwdriver head to the workpiece can be set quickly, simply and more accurately than with existing designs.
