The supply generates the required minimum pressure in the high pressure circuit (8) before filling the reservoir (14). This is achieved by fitting a pressure relief valve (25) in the supply line to the reservoir, while the pressure balance is achieved by the spring-loaded non-return valve (29) in the line (28). The throttle valve (24) and the pressure relief pilot valve (27) ensure a constant volumetric oil flow rate to the high pressure circuit (8) for a given pump-pressure.
