A tip angle (delta 1) of the first hollow mirror (S1) is so dimensioned that an incoming light bundle (1) comes past the second hollow mirror (S2) on to the first and from it is reflected on to the second. The second hollow mirror brings the light bundle (1) to a focus, and the tip angle (delta 2) of the second mirror (S2) is determined by the formula: f1 f2/2 tan delta 1 / (f1 - d)2 (2 f2 - f1 + d) in which f1 and f2 are the focal lengths of the hollow mirrors (S1, S2), d is the distance between the mirrors and in the radiation path means are provided for elimination of astigmatism in the form of a cylindrical lens. USE/ADVANTAGE - An oblique mirror telescope in which by simple construction reproduction faults in picture transmission are excluded.
