Lifting device for vehicle axle - has airbag, with metal end plates, and bar, fastened to chain with holder for axle

The vehicle axle lifting device has two profiles (4) welded to the lower metal plate (3), and to the vehicle chassis (5). A bar (6) extends through the airbag. The top end of the bar is connected by a nut (7) to the top metal plate. The lower end of the bar is fastened to a chain (8). A holder (9) engaging around the vehicle axle (10) is suspended from the chain. The bar extends through a sleeve (11), welded to the lower plate. When the axle is raised/lowered, the bar moves up and down. USE/ADVANTAGE - Lifting device for vehicle axle is of reduced weight, due to presence of single guide bar only.
