Defining of user surface of touch sensitive display - has user defined blocks on screens that contain multiple functions stored in memory

The display screen with a touch contact selection facility has multiple blocks. The system has a control unit (SE) that allows a specific function (BFT) to be set on the screen and displayed. The blocks on the screen can be selected using movement of the block cursor. The number of key functions within each block can be independent of the other blocks (B2-Bn) through multiple operations of the function keys. Functions are defined within a memory (ZUSP). USE/ADVANTAGE - for operator in telephone exchange. Allows simple, optimum form of screen touch panel functions.
