The self-propelled combine harvester is use for picking up grain or other crops. The screen combination comprises at least one rigid or movable sieve (6). The light material hopper (5) is coupled to a screw conveyor (8) whose upper outlet opens into a separate collecting tank (9) which pref. has an emptying device at its lowest point.
