The disc brush (8) and at least one gear (11), which is bevelled, is slidable along the rotating axis. This gear is in engagement with the drive in the lowered position and through meshing with another fixed bevelled gear (12). The brush and the gear (11) are located on a common hollow shaft (9). The brush is adjustable in height along this shaft by being attached to a spindle (29) which slides in the shaft and is set at the correct height by a button (30). The gear to allow the sliding of the brush is a friction wheel which engages a second friction wheel when lowered. ADVANTAGE - Has few moving parts, thus having simple assembly and disassembly. It can also be driven by a motor if necessary.
