The base of the bed has supports made of inflatable pressure hoses, esp. foil hoses (1). The hoses are adhered together by bands (7) which have protruding burls (8) which engage in corresponding holes in the support laths (9). The hoses are positioned on feet (2) which accommodate for curves (3) in the hoses. ADVANTAGE - It is transportable and takes up minimal volume when deflated and because of the ability of the bands to roll up. It has an air cartridge for ease of inflation and positioning.
