The girder is for use in a car, and esp. a steering gear is fastened to it, esp. via through bolts. The stiffener has distance tubes for the bolts. The tubes are formed by pairs of opposite semi-circular print-outs in sheet metal walls, which act as carrier parts. The carrier parts (1,2) are manufactured in a cold extrusion method. The end sections of the parts are bevelled at right angles on the pressure-charged ends (K). Material accumulations are located on the free pressure-charged ends (1b) of the metal walls (1a). ADVANTAGE - Permits high surface pressures.
