The method involves analysing frequency characteristics of a heart. Heart valve defects have virtually an individual frequency specific correlation. With auscultation diagnosis of lungs with a stethoscope, breathing noise on inspiration and expiration gives a specific frequency spectrum, also with rattling and whistling as well as with versicular and bronchial respiration. The typical amplitude behaviour with percussion of the lungs, for the purpose of limiting sonorous lung parts, also indicates an organ specific pattern of corresp. low and high amplitudes. ADVANTAGE - Auscultation diagnosis and percussion diagnosis is improved and range of use is widened using audio visual stethoscope.
