The invention relates to a teaching tool intended for learning to write letters and figures. It is produced from injection moulds for plastic parts. The device consists of a series of support plates including, on the front, grooves allowing passage of the index finger of the hand and fitted with an anti-return system. Brush hairs or flexible blades injected into the mass of the support plates guide the finger in a compulsory direction. This novel method is intended essentially for the school environment, from the older section of nursery school to the first year of primary school, for practising writing exercises prior to systematic learning to write.
