Anti-leak and anti-water hammer cell for spectrophotometers

Anti-leak and anti-water hammer device for the cells of a spectrophotometer for continuous analysis of a fluid. The invention is intended to avoid damage to the spectrophotometer in the case of breakage of the analysis cell or of leakage on the path of the fluid. It consists (see Figure 1) of a transparent container (2) placed around the analysis cell (8) over the whole path of the fluid inside the casing of the spectrophotometer symbolically represented by the envelope (1). A capillary (tube) (7) may be added upstream of the cell in order to limit the transient overpressures generally called water hammer.
