Procedure for making composite material for use in construction, from substrate and metal covering - applying metal in molten form in fine droplets after melting with not gas, electric arc or plasma flame
The procedure consists of applying a metal in molten form to a rough-surfaced substrate. The metal can be in the form of a wire or thin rod when melted by a hot gas or electric arc, or a powder when heated by a plasma flow, and after it has been applied it can be covered with a layer of a suitable coating material. Applied in a fine droplet form, the metal penetrates into the surface of the substrate, e.g. of concrete, cement, plaster or brick, giving it additional properties, e.g. decorative, mechanical reinforcement, electrical or thermal conductivity, or protection against flames. In a variant, a number of layers of different metals can be applied to a substrate using the same procedure. ADVANTAGE - Wide range of applications.
