The garment comprises lined front panels, an unlined back panel, and sleeves with straight seams at the front and raglan at the back, all made from 100 per cent cotton treated with 'Proban' (RTM) or 'Nomex' (RTM). It also has a round collar (F) which is open at the front, and a one-piece panel (E) covering the shoulders and the top of the front and back. The garment also has breast and side pockets and is made long enough to cover the trouser pockets of the wearer, avoiding any projections which might tend to halt the flow of molten metal droplets. The sleeves fasten at the wrist to keep out such droplets and red hot particles.
