PURPOSE:To prevent a needle from coming off and to enable the needle to be attached and removed to and from a blood extractor having a needle attaching section to which the needle is directly fitted by giving special shapes to the fitting part of the needle attaching section and the needle, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A needle 1 has a needle plate 15 having a cross-section which is bent so as to have a dog-like shape, which is formed at its front end with a needle tip 16, and an insertion groove 17 is formed so as to extend axially from the front end, being opened at its front end side and both sides. An axial locking groove 18 is formed in the center part of one of the opposed surfaces of the insertion groove while axial locking faces 19 being formed at both sides edges of the other one of the opposed surfaces thereof. With the needle plate being inserted in the locking groove 18, the front part of the needle plate including the needle tip is projected from the front end of the needle attaching section, and both end parts 15b of the needle plate are projected from both sides of the needle plate while the bend part 15a of the needle plate is supported by the locking groove 18. Further, the both end parts of the needle plate is supported by the locking faces. Accordingly, the bent part and both side parts of the needle plate are pressed against the locking groove and both locking surface by the resiliency of the needle plate, that is, the needle is held. In the case of the replacement of the needle, the both end parts of the needle plate are slightly opened so as to be separated from the both locking parts of the insertion groove, thereby the needle can be pulled out.
