PURPOSE:To constitute four-terminal electrodes, by forming counter electrodes on a piezoelectric layer with the piezoelectric layer of a piezoelectric bimorph element as a boundary, and connecting said electrodes to external electrodes, which are obtained by dividing the piezoelectric layer at the boundary in upper and lower parts at surface exposed end part. CONSTITUTION:At the upper and lower parts of a piezoelectric layer 11, a laminated body comprising piezoelectric layers having inner counter electrodes in five layers is formed. The laminated body 12 is constituted by inner electrodes 12a and 12b, which form counter electrodes to each other. At the four corners, external electrodes 13a-13d, which are contacted with the inner electrodes 12a and 12b, are provided. Thereafter an outer electrode 13 is provided so as to obtain the upper and lower parts as two divided parts. Thus a laminated type piezoelectric bimorph element 10 having a four-terminal structure is obtained. The element 10 applies voltage across the counter electrodes 13a and 13b and across 13c and 13d.
