PURPOSE:To decrease installation cost by making water soluble Ba compd. to Ba compd. difficult to be solved and settling it, and also coprecipitating boric acid, settling, separating and removing them and thereafter subjecting the soln. to microorganism treatment. CONSTITUTION:Raw waste liquid contg. boric acid and barium acetate is introduced into a raw water regulation tank 1 and regulated to 6-8pH by adding a caustic soda aq. soln. Thereafter waste liquid is transferred to a reaction tank 2 and a sodium sulfate aq. soln. is added thereto and allow them to react with each other, and crystal of barium sulfate is produced. Furthermore suspended substance consisting of barium sulfate and boric acid is flocculated by adding a polymeric flocculating agent aq. soln. and this is settled and separated in a precipitation tank 4. Nutritive agent liquid is injected to the separated liquid, and this soln. is transferred to a biological catalytic oxidation tank 5, and acetic acid is decomposed and treated. Sludge produced thereby is settled and separated in a precipitation tank 6 and supernatant water is discharged as treated water. Thereby the treatment of organic components can be surely performed.
