摘要

The single phase BaSi_2O_5 doped with Eu~(2+) was successfully synthesized by an aqueous solution method using a novel water-soluble silicon compound in combination with NH_4Cl as a flux. The intensity of the emission peak of thus obtained BaSi_2O_5:Eu~(2+) was ~2 times higher than that of a sample prepared by a solid-state reaction method.
