PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material having a subbing layer superior in adhesiveness to both of a hydrophilic colloidal layer and a synthetic resin film by incorporating a specified block and/or graft polymer in a polymer made from a polymer latex. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material has the subbing layer formed by coating a synthetic resin film base with a polymer latex containing a polymer A capable of forming a polymer latex and a block polymer B having block units compatible with the polymer A and/or a graft copolymer B having graft units compatible with the polymer A in an amount of 10-99wt%, preferably, 20-95wt%, and the sum of A and B is added, preferably, in an amount of =90wt% of the total polymers contained in the polymer latex grains.
