PURPOSE:To make a transmission case so simply from the structural standpoint and its assembly also so easily, by constituting an opening part of the transmission case, where a gear shifter and a steering gear are built in, to cover a steering shaft and a change lever both with a single transmission cover. CONSTITUTION:A transmission case 5 is constituted of a transmission case body 150 to be opened upward and a transmission cover 152 covering an opening part 151, and a gear shifter consisting of plural gears and shafts is housed inside the transmission case 150. And, in the transmission cover 152, a steering shaft 43 is supported on a cupped support part 152 free of rotation. On the other hand, a change lever 36 is put side by side with the support part 153 for the steering shaft 43, while it is supported on the tubular support part 165 projectingly installed in the transmission cover 152 tiltably in all directions, and a shifter selecting engaging relations with shifting gears is installed in this lower end. With this constitution aforesaid, a structure is simplified and assembly can be made easily.
