PURPOSE:To easily obtain a sealing member having excellent sliding characteristic by employing tetra fluoro ethylene resin containing an organic filler added with fluororesin powder for the sealing member slidable against the sliding face of a scroll member composed of aluminic material. CONSTITUTION:A sealing member 4 to be mounted at the tip of a spiral wall 2 of a scroll member 11 composed of aluminum or aluminum alloy is composed of tetrafluoro ethylene resin mixed with an organic filler such as polyphenylane sulfide added with a fluororesin powder such as tetrafluoro ethylene-perfluoro alkyl vinyl ether copolymer. Consequently, a sealing member having excellent sliding characteristic can be obtained while addition of fluororesin powder will make injection molding possible and facilitate manufacturing.
