PURPOSE: To enable precise grasp of the actual blowing gas quantity even in the case of dispersing a part of the gas by obtaining the integrated value of the blowing gas into a converter based on the integrated values of supplying gas quantity and dispersing gas quantity calculated from each piping for inlet side of the converter and disperse of refining gas. ;CONSTITUTION: In the flow rate control method for equipment having the piping for dispersing a part of the refining gas supplied in the piping at the inlet side of the converter to outside as necessity requires, the dispersing gas flowing quantity fA is detected with a gas flowing quantity transmitter arranged in the piping for dispersing and inputted into a blowing gas flowing quantity arithmetic part. In this arithmetic part, information on the gas flowing quantities fCO2, fN2, fO2 preset in each flowing quantity indicating controller is inputted. The dispersing flowing quantity of each gas is obtd. from the ratio of each gas component in the refining gas and the dispersing gas flowing quantity fA control. By substracting the dispersing gas flowing integrated values F11, F21, F31 from the blowing gas flowing integrated values F12, F22, F32 in each gas component, the effective blowing gas flowing integrated values F13, F23, F33 are obtd.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
