DEVICE FOR EQUALIZING PRESSURE OF SEAL GAS IN MACHINE CHAMBER FOR DRIVING DISTRIBUTING CHUTE IN BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: To precisely and automatically follow up the pressure of seal gas in a machine chamber for driving a distributing chute in a bell-less charging system blast furnace. ;CONSTITUTION: A pressure equalizing tank 1 arranged outside the blast furnace is constituted of an inversed U shaped cupped piston 4 where a vertical type cylindrical vessel 2 and shift part 4' having a water-sealing trough 3 in the inner periphery is immersed into the sealing water in the water-sealing trough. The lower part A of the pressure equalizing tank, the machine chamber M for driving the distributing chute, the upper part B of the pressure equalizing tank and the furnace top T are connected with communicating pipes 7, 8, respectively, to balance the pressures of seal gas and furnace top gas through the pressure equalizing tank.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
