The infrared thermal imager takes an image according to the temperature distribution of the object. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the temperature distribution of the chute before using infrared detection. The present paper is part 2 of a three paper series[1][2] discussing the effect of high temperature gas flow on the chute temperature distribution. In this paper, the chute is numerically simulated and the distribution of chute temperature field is obtained. It provides a theoretical basis for effectively prolonging the service time of the chute. The results show that the high temperature gas flows around the chute during the charging process, resulting in metal chute heating. The chute is vulnerable to damage because of the impact of high temperature gas and the friction of charge particles.
